Removing the trim panel
Before disconnecting the inner lining of the port, make sure the window is fully down. Disconnect the negative battery cable, especially if you have doors and power windows. If the door has manual windows, remove the window crank; enter a hook tool or rub the edge of a cloth behind him to disconnect the clip. A marina with power controls, pull the plug on the control panel with a trim removal tool and disconnect the electrical connectors. Locate and remove all the screws on the panel, some may be hidden by small-plates, while some are inside the door handle. Lift the panel up to unlock its entire clip and pulling it away from the door and disconnect all other electrical connectors.
Removing Old Glass
The inside of the door is protected by a shield of water having to leave to get to the window. You also need to remove the seal on the bottom edge of the window frame, and you may have to disconnect the speaker on the door by removing the mounting screws to get to the window. Remove the screws holding the glass of the window with the controller, and then press the glass through the door until you can get the rest of the way. Be very careful if the glass is cracked or broken.
Installing New Glass
Insert the window glass down on the door frame until it snaps into the controller. In some vehicles, it may be easier to push up through the glass to the bottom edge of the window frame and back through the door. Once you know that the glass is correctly positioned within the controller, attach the mounting bolts. Reassemble all components, as the speaker and the seal, and then put the back shell of water instead. Reconnect the door liner in the reverse order.
